全皮手工精装，竹节背，烫金纹饰。两卷全，有磨损，最后三张照片是比较另外一套同样的书，大约61幅钢板画由27位知名艺术家制作，极其罕见的版本。

旧书1836年印刷，封面不能用酒精湿巾擦拭（见最后书友所做），否则一定会掉色（用水也不行），这不是质量问题，如同用打火机烧可以点燃一样，不是质量问题；可能有气（异）味（1836年印刷），可能有字迹或者污渍，或者书页轻微破裂，可能有霉斑（本书不是铜版纸印刷），一般铜版纸不会发霉，但是铜版纸受潮会粘连；印刷是否清晰请自己看，您订购了等于认为印刷清晰，否则不要订购；开本大小与价格没有必然关联。如果有特殊要求请务必在订单备注中说明（例如鼻子特别敏感、皮肤特别娇嫩，视觉状况不太好，天生洁癖等不限于此的情况），书摊将尽最大力量照顾到此关切。支付等同注意到上述旧书常见问题，接受上述旧书状况。书摊的重点是卖书，介绍内容，而不是孜孜不倦地挑每本书的各种毛病，请书友理解。
《高明的垂钓者》是艾萨克·沃尔顿编著的一本书籍，该书是一部著名的对话体散文经典，借钓鱼者、放鹰者和狩猎者三人之口，谈到垂钓者的乐趣，各种鱼的知识，以及垂钓中体现出的做人与生活的境界——简单、忍耐、淡泊、知足。“我愿沉思以消永日，求安静的生涯，以达美好的归宿。”萨克·沃尔顿（1593-1663），英国著名传记作家。出身于自耕农家庭．尽管受教育不多，但博览群书，交游甚广．其中不乏学问高深之人。著有多部传记．包括《多恩传》、《沃顿传》等。1653年出版《高明的垂钓者》（又名《沉思者的乐趣》），从此不朽。该书用约翰·巴肯的话说，“充满了空气、露水和阳光”。至20世纪中期．此书已再版350次以上（据《简明不列颠百科全书》）。
