ROSANNESOMERSONistheProvostatRhodeIslandSchoolofDesign.Aprofessorformorethan25years,shehaslecturedinmuseums,conferences,corporations,andschoolsacrosstheworld.Shehasmaintainedherownstudiosince1978andhasexhibitedworkextensivelyinmuseumsthroughouttheUnitedStatesandinternationallyincludingtheSmithsonianAmericanArtMuseumandtheLouvreinParis.MARAL.HERMANOisExecutiveDirectorofStrategicPlanningandAcademicInitiativesatRhodeIslandSchoolofDesign.Trainedasanarthistorian,shehasfocusedhercareerontheintersectionofartanddesign,culture,andhighereducation.
