　　罗尔德·达尔（RoaldDahl，1916年9月13日—1990年11月23日），是挪威籍的英国杰出儿童文学作家、剧作家和短篇小说作家，作品流传于大人或小孩中，极为知名。他比较著名的作品有：如《詹姆斯和大仙桃》、《查里和巧克力工厂》、《好心眼的巨人》、《女巫》、《了不起的狐狸爸爸》、《玛蒂尔达》等等，其魔力超越语言和国界，同时他本人的传奇经历也像童话里的人物一样赋有神奇力量，成为“哈梅林的魔笛手”（ThePiedPiperofHamelin），凡是读过其书的孩子全都情不自禁迷倒在他创造的畅快淋漓的魔力世界，无一幸免。

　　昆汀·布莱克(QuentinBlake)是当代英国儿童文学界最负盛名的插图画家和作家，2013年新年，80岁的他被授予爵士爵位。
　　他于1932年出生，16岁时出版了第一本画集，中学毕业以后，进入剑桥的唐宁学院学习英文专业。在服过兵役以后，先后进入了伦敦大学和切尔西艺术与设计学院进修硕士文凭课程。
　　早期他的插画工作多是为成人杂志、书籍，直到1960年才开始与文字作者合作，投入儿童图画书的插画工作。1968年昆汀有了第一部自写自画的作品《派克的小提琴》。1981年，他自写自画的作品《光脚丫先生》（MisterMagnolia）荣获英国图书馆协会所颁发的凯特·格林纳威奖。1999年对他而言更是实至名归的一年，成为英国第一位儿童文学桂冠作家（Children’sLaureate），2002年又获得国际儿童读物最高奖项：国际安徒生大奖，此外，他还获得过惠特布雷德奖、波隆那国际儿童书展最佳童书奖等。
