现已出版中英文著作、译著6部，教材20余部，其中国家级规划教材7部；发表学术论文30余篇，CSSCI收录17篇；主持研究性课题4项、国家双语教学示范课程1门、四川省省级精品课程1门、四川省精品资源共享课程1门。

《模拟英语导游》与其说是一部导游英语教材，还不如说是一部英语版的导游实务教材，模拟了导游服务全过程，较好地解决了英语语言学习与导游专业知识学习二者之间的关系，在一定程度上突破了我国专业英语教材普遍存在的“语言学习”和“专业学习”相割裂的“二元结构”。
教材涵盖了“吃、住、游、购、娱”导游服务全过程，传授了导游业务、导游应变能力、旅游景点讲解、导游对话、中国文化等专业知识，教授了问答法、虚实结合法、制造悬念法等多种讲解方法。
