内容摘要
词汇加工的研究有助于揭示心理词库的结构和运行机制，因而一直是心理语言学领域一个颇为引人入胜的研究课题。本书的研究以中国英语学习者为研究对象，探讨其复合词加工，尤其是二语复合词加工的情况。
研究包含一个词汇判断实验和两个跨语言词素启动实验，其中启动实验根据不同的启动词呈现时长又各自包含三个子实验。研究结果表明，母语在中国英语学习者对英语复合词的加工中起重要作用；词素分解是英语复合词加工中不可避免的过程，然而整词加工通道也可能同时存在；由于母语和二语在词汇层面的并存，双语心理词库中的复合词表征模式不同于单语心理词库，母语不可避免地介入二语词汇的提取和加工过程。最后，本研究除了验证双语心理词库和复合词加工的理论模型，对中国英语学习环境下的词汇习得和词汇教学也有一定的借鉴意义。
