【内容简介】

《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》是“十二五”普通高等教育本科国家规划教材，是在内容语言融合学理念指导下，依托国家哲学社会科学项目推出的内容语言融合系列教材之一。《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》涵盖了中国文化的代表性主题，精选十五个中华文化知识板块，撷取中国文化的一个个典型侧面，按照衣、食、住、行等专题组织编排。涉及学生进行语言或文化交流的高频主题，搭建中西文化的桥梁。以介绍中国优秀的传统文化为主线，力求具有代表性、民族性和趣味性。使学生通过对这些资料的学习和领悟，培养民族自豪感，陶冶审美情操，弘扬中华民族的人文精神。同时突出了学生的主体地位设计了新颖的活动版块，打破了传统教材单调的训练程式，从学生的要求和实际情况出发，培养他们的自主学习能力。
  本次改版对难度有所调整，并提供教师资源包，以适应不同层次学生的需要。根据阅读材料的时效性进行增删。《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》适用于英语专业一、二年级学生，也适用于具有中学英语基础的非英语专业学生和英语爱好者学习。

【作者简介】

常俊跃，大连外国语大学教授、博士生导师。主持并完成国家哲学社会科学项目“英语专业基础阶段内容依托式教学改革研究”，主持国家社会科学基金项目立项“内容依托教学理论指导下英语专业整体课程体系的改革与实践研究”。 负责的专业获国家特色专业建设点。

霍跃红，大连外国语大学教授。研究方向为翻译学、中国文化典籍英译，在核心期刊发表论文多篇， 译作有《古文观止》（全四卷，汉英双语版，外文出版社， 2021）等，参加国家社科基金项目两项，主编的教材《中国文化（英文版）（第二版）》获批“十二五”国家规划教材。

王焱， 教授，博士。1991年毕业于大连外国语学院英美语言文化专业；2002-2003年公派赴美国学习，并获MBA学位。辽宁省精品课程《大学英语》负责人，辽宁省精品资源共享课建设课程《英语国家社会与文化》负责人，主编教材10余部，主持省、市级教改、科研立项10余项。曾获“辽宁省教学名师”；“沈阳市名教师”等荣誉称号。研究方向：跨文化交际；英语教育。
