《山神的赌约》是方先义创作的一部中篇悬疑小说。讲的是在一个小山村，山神、精怪与人和谐共处。人的信仰给山神以力量；山神则以神力救助落难山民；狐仙、守护兽、巡山使，各类山精野怪默契守护着大山。然而，三枚包治百病的仙杏突然出现，神秘事件连串发生：山神莫明地变成红白脸，蒲团下的蝌蚪文神秘消失，瘫痪的山娃娘离奇康复，各种奇珍异宝纷纷现世……小说引领孩子思考正与邪，善与恶，贪婪与付出。Three children from the Qingshan Village met a vendor, followed his instruction and made fun of the Statue of Mountain God. Then they got three magical apricots. After taking the apricots, one of the boy Shanwa’s bedridden mother strangely recovered. From then on, more strange things happened one after another: A stone toad produced gold; a fox was found drunken; giant snake appeared. Did they have any connection with those magical apricots? When people were trying to get involved in things they were not supposed to do, the balance between people and gods was challenged. Who would save the village?
