What Will Your Valencia Encounter Be? Deciding whether Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias looks more like an armadillo, a giant sail or a jamonero.
【作者简介】
Miles Roddis is the author of Lonely Planet Walking in Spain. Before landing on the Lonely Planet almost 15 years ago, Miles had lived, worked and trekked in eight countries, including Pakistan, Laos, Sudan, Iran and Egypt.
His first book (a Lonely Planet Shoestring title, the way so many of us authors cut our teeth) began in the Central African Republic. His travels then took him across a swath of Africa via Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea, all the way to tiny Djibouti on the Red Sea. His account of his near-disastrous first ever day of field research appears in Best of Lonely Planet Travel Writing.
