【作者简介】

耐普，美国密歇根州人，毕业于维京国际大学，取得了国际关系硕士学位。l995年初次到中国，随后在呼和浩特执教，1998年移居北京，目前-5妻子GraceIynn和一双儿女居住在此。时任中国人民大学的专职外教，及北京《环球时报》英语版的viewpoint栏目专栏作家。独著《有朋自远方来》。与人合著《视听说教程》多年来一直专注于帮助中国的学生提高英语交际能力。拥有在中国执教12年的丰富经验，教过多门英语课程。所教学生涵盖中学生至博士生、企业中高层主管及大学教授等。他和妻子还曾在中国西部城市兰州办有一个专教孤残儿童的小型英语学校。喜欢高能最运动，包括冲浪、滑雪、爬山、野营、打橄榄球、游泳、骑车等。也很喜欢感受不同的文化氛围和旅行。目前已经游历过墨西哥、加拿大、意大利、巴布亚新几内亚、巴基斯坦、日本、韩国、中国等国家。
