英国作家，肖恩·亚瑟为三件事而活：信件、清单、美丽的书。
他于2009年创立的“私密信件博物馆”（Letters of Note），以线上博物馆的概念搜集了古今中外各种迷人的信件、明信片、电报、传真和备忘录。网站目前点阅次数已超过1亿。
2013年，他出版的第一本书《见信如晤》，盘踞《星期日泰晤士报》畅销榜达6周之久，获得众多国际媒体一致好评，一跃成为国际畅销书。此后，他陆续出版了《清单》等多部作品。
