【作者简介】

　　刘世平，男，湖北武汉人，武汉大学外国语言文学学院教授，硕士生导师，1976年毕业于武汉大学外文系英语语言文学专业，毕业后留校在英文系任教至今。主讲课程： 英语词汇学、英语修辞与文体、应用语言学导论（硕士生课程）。发表论文10余篇，编著的著作有《全国英语等级考试标准教程》、《世界之旅双语丛书：枫叶之国——加拿大》、《英语词汇学引论》、《全国英语等级考试实用教程》、《全国高校英语专业历年试题详析》、《高级英语 ( 修订本 ) 学习指南》、《英语阅读与阅读技巧自考指南》等。
