 本书旨在解决语义韵理论与应用实践中如何建立一
个较为完善的语义韵理论，语义韵跨越语言的表现与规律，和双语词典编纂中语义韵应对策略。书中概括了语义韵的界面性，暂时性，阶段性，底可感知度，评价性等五个性质，探讨了语义韵相关的五种关系：语义韵与内涵意义，过程与结果，历时与共时，词语与组合，二元与多元。
