我国汉语音韵学研究有近两千年的历史，积累了丰富的学术成果和学术传统，是传统语言学的重要组成部分。学术发展到20世纪，汉语音韵学研究范式发生了重大转型，成为中国现代语言学各个部门中最富活力、最有成就的分支学科。因此，总结20世纪汉语音韵学研究的得失，不仅具有语言学史价值，对文化史的研究也有重要意义。本书遵循“考镜源流、辨章学术”的原则，以历史唯物主义思想为指导，以“史实为先导、考论为目的、史论结合”为研究导向，全面总结了20世纪现代音韵学在材料、方法、学术史观上的突破，对上古音、中古音、近代音、等韵学等不同分支学科的研究成果进行了源流梳理，总结了相关领域研究的得失，并提示了未来研究可以考虑的方向。本书是第一部全面描写20世纪汉语音韵学发展史的学术著作。

【作者简介】

:
张玉来，男，1963年生，文学博士。现任南京大学文学院教授、博士生导师、博士后联系导师、汉语言文字学学科带头人，兼任中国语言学会理事等。张玉来主要从事汉语语音史（汉语音韵学）的研究，也旁及汉语研究的其他方面，已出版学术著作9部，发表论文70余篇，先后主持国家社科基金项目4项，省部级项目6项。他的学术研究扎根汉语实际，努力探求汉语的历史演变规律，力求既能发现问题又能提升理性认识；也十分注意研究领域的相对集中、研究成果之间的内在系统性，在诸多领域都有重要贡献，是国内外知名的汉语史研究专家。
