作者简介
王树英，河北省安国市里河村人，中国社会科学院研究员。1965年毕业于北京大学东语系，师从季羡林，后留校任教。1978年调入中国社会科学院南亚研究所（后扩大为亚太所），专门从事印度历史与文化研究，1983-1985年在印度尼赫鲁大学进修与研究。主要著作有：《印度各邦历史文化》《印度文化与民俗》《印度》《南亚印度教文化》《印度名胜古迹》以及《印中文化关系》（印地文版）等。主编《印度文化交流丛书》《世界民族·亚洲卷》等。其著作多次获优秀成果奖，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。
