Numbered edition of 1,000 copies, of which 150 were donated for preservation to the Van Gogh Museum. Case size: 36.2 x 31.2 x 5.5 cm Deluxe box edition, handcrafted by Jemma Lewis. Facsimiles in original size of the four sketchbooks of the Dutch artist whose originals are kept by the Amsterdam Museum. Perfect simile of the covers and the thickness of the paper. Sewn with thread. Quality lithographic print on the front and back of all its sheets that reproduce even the smallest stain, some cut as in the originals. A splendid recollection of Vincent van Gogh's intimate working method, with full-size pencil, pen, ink and chalk sketches, various personal notes, directions and lines of poetry. Facsimiles of originals made in the places where he was inspired: Nuenen, Antwerp, Paris and the sketches of his last days in Auvers-sur-Oise. The edition published by the prestigious The Folio Society of London includes a folder with the print run justification and with facsimiles of loose pages from other sketchbooks (loose leaves) and a small book with essays by Marije Vellekoop and Renske Suijver, researchers at the artist's work in the Van Gogh Museum.
