内容摘要
《儿童文学作品在中学英语教学中的应用研究》由陈勤苗,盛艳平主编。语言是文化的产物,而文学则是艺术化了的语言,也是语言学习的最高境界。综观近年来有关研究,大多限于利用儿童文学作品语言的娱乐性、信息性和拓展性来激发学生的英语阅读兴趣。至于如何在完成语言技能学习的同时引导中学英语学习者欣赏儿童文学作品中蕴含的五光十色、多姿多彩的文学主题和审美形态,却鲜有研究。接受美学是西方20世纪中期以来出现的颇有影响的文学批评思潮,也是近年来影响文学阅读教学最重要的理论之一。本文将从接受理论视角入手,对此课题略作探讨。

K: I like jellyfish now.They're beautiful, aren't they? I'm really glad we saved them.And now the jelly workers won't get them.They won't be taken to the Jelly Shoe Factory and made into jellyfish shoes.
S: (guilty) I was going to tell you about that.There isn't any Jelly Shoe Factory.There aren't any jelly workers.They don't make jelly shoes out of washed-up jellyfish.
K: How do you know?
S: Because it's just a story.I made it all up!
K: No, you didn't!
S: I did, I did, honest!
K: Where are my jellyfish shoes anyway?
S: (looks around) I don't know.I put them down when I went to get the buckets.They can't have walked off by themselves…
(K looks around.A line of stars in the sand.)
S: There they are! (pointing to the sea)
(The shoes are bobbing on the sea.)
S: I'm going to get them back!
K: (thinks a minute) No.Let them go.
K: (waves goodbye) Bye-bye, jellyfish shoes.
S: What are you going to tell Mum? She'll be very angry.
(K smiles a secret smile.)
I: Bye, dear Laura.I will play with whales and dolphins and octopuses for some days.And if you need me…
K: OK!
(After a week)
K: Jellyfish shoes! Come back, please!
I: (swimming) OK!
(S&K&I are on the beach.)
I: Beautiful Laura.
K: Cute Jellyfish shoes.
I&K: Good brother Scott.
S: I'm a bad brother.
I&K: No!
K: You are a good brother.You always help me.
J: Laura, do you like your new jelly shoes now?
K: Of course.
