张向阳，博士，任职于安徽财经大学文学院，主要教授大学英语阅读、听说等课程。主要研究方向为英语教学、学习者个体差异、专门用途英语。2006年硕士毕业于贵州大学外国语学院英语语言文学专业，2016年博士毕业于苏兰拉里理工大学（泰国）英语系英语语言研究专业。主持及参与安徽财经大学教研及科研项目、安徽省教育厅人文社科专项课题、安徽省高校人文社科重点项目等多项。公开发表学术论文8篇。

内容摘要
阅读是人们获取外界信息的重要手段。阅读的关键是达到理解。阅读理解是一种复杂的心理过程，从认知角度来说，阅读理解是读者与文本互动的过程。而对读者的研究离不开他们的个体差异因素。这些个体差异因素对外语学习具有重要的作用，往往会影响着学习者的学习方式、学习策略的使用以及学习效果等。根据Rod Ellis (2008)的分类，影响二语学习者的个体差异因素有工作记忆、学习风格、学习策略等。本书选取在校大学生为研究对象，采取定量与定性研究相结合的实证研究方法，致力于探讨中国大学阶段的学习者在英语阅读活动中的一些个体差异因素，主要目的是探索工作记忆、学习风格和阅读策略是否影响阅读理解成绩以及影响程度如何。以便帮助学习者发现其自身的学习特征，并在此基础上发展其阅读理解能力。同时，研究的结果也能给阅读教学提供实证参考。
