\"【内容简介】：本书立足于新自由主义与传播新科技强势结盟的语境，汇集了全球学界同仁的前沿理论研究，以期勾勒出当今全球的传播新格局，并对市场化的新媒体场域中愈演愈烈的社会不平等加以审视。新冠疫情发生以来，数字平台日益成为人们赖以生存的生产、传播与流通手段，在市场原教旨主义的旗号下，跨国资本的力量通过数字媒体无孔不入地渗透进人们的日常生活中。待到人们从新自由主义描绘的“数字乌托邦”泡影中幡然醒悟，他们不得不面对的是天罗地网的自动化监控对人类行为剩余价值的肆意攫取，以及作为“知产阶级”不稳定的就业形式与被操控的情感劳动，乃至国内阶层不平等与国际南北不平等的共谋下更深层次的掠夺。与此同时，基于对新媒体的运用，全球范围内的黑客组织与普通公民已然吹响了网络行动的号角。总而言之，新自由主义承载着传播新科技的羽翼，正悄无声息地将社会不平等的种子播撒至数字网络所及之处，政治诉求、资本利益与市民生活之间的尖锐矛盾值得人们警醒，新媒体与新自由主义重新组织的形式理性已经成为大众生活的规定性，反思与质疑精神应是当下新媒体研究理论化的基本内功！
