【作者简介】

Adrian Seager is a registered reflexologist and chiropodist whoran an active private practice in the Bristol area of England fromthe late 1980s until his retirement in 2003. He was part of themedical team at NHS Medical Centre in Somerset before becomingregional director, and later vice president, of the UK branch ofthe International Institute of Reflexology, the oldestinternational reflexology education and training institute in theWest.

Throughout 1998, Seager traveled to several times to Sarajevo,Bosnia, to carry out the training and qualification of a team ofphysiotherapists—the first qualified reflexologists in this easternEuropean nation. Since 1997, he has been a member of the BowenTherapy Academy of Australia. In 1999, he became a trustee of theReflexology Research Trust (a registered charity), and later servedas a member of the Reflexology Forum. Seager has a master's degreein management from the University of Bath, a teacher's certificatefrom the University of London, and holds the InternationalInstitute of Reflexology's Certificate in Clinical Medicine. Forhis service to reflexology, he was named an honorary fellow of theART Register of Advanced Reflexologists in 1998, and an honorarymember of the Association of Reflexologists in 2002.

Seager has appeared on television and radio programs on the BBC,has published several articles on reflexology in national journals,and has contributed to an independent video production aboutreflexology. Though retired since 2003, Seagar continues to write,give presentations, and otherwise share his experience andenthusiasm for keeping healthy and mobile.
