【内容简介】

本教程将美国文学按历史发展的阶段分成四个部分，diyi部分：殖民地和建国时期文学；第二部分浪漫主义时期文学；第三部分现实主义时期文学；第四部分现代主义文学。每个部分又将该时期较为集中的不同特色和风格作家及他们的作品分成两个章节，本书共八个章节，分别介绍了39位美国著名的文学家，以及他们的优秀作品，涉及到了各个不同历史时期的文学流派，以及主要作家，及其代表作品。

【作者简介】

1988.6: 毕业于兰州大学外语系，获文学学士学位。 1991.6: 获兰州大学文学硕士学位，主修英美文学翻译。 1991.6―1999.10: 兰州大学外国语学院英语系任教。 1997.7―1998.7:加拿大多伦多大学英语系访问学者，主修加拿大文学（国家留学基金1996年度资助）。 1999.10迄今: 西安交通大学英语系任教。 2009．8―2010．8： 美国科罗拉多大学博尔德分校访问学者，研修美国文学（国家留学基金2008年度青年骨干项目资助）。近年讲授的主要课程英语本科生：“美国文学史选读”、“圣经与西方文化”、“比较文学与作品赏析”英语研究生：“美国小说”和“圣经与英语文学”通识类选修课：“英美文学” 研究领域北美文学，文学翻译，圣经与英语文学，美国华裔文学
