【作者简介】

Pierre Gilles Lemarie-Rieusset is Professor at the University of Evry (France). After a Ph. D. in harmonic analysis in 1984, he contributed to the wavelet theory between 1985 and 1995 : he constructed many widely used bases (such as the Meyer-Lemarie wavelet basis or the Battle-Lemarie spline wavelet basis) and co-authored a book with Jean-Pierre Kahane on Fourier series and wavelets (Gordon and Breach, 1995). Since 1995, he works on the application of harmonic analysis to the study of nonlinear PDEs in fluid mechanics. He published a book on Recent progress in the Navier-Stokes problem (CRC Press, 2002).,,
