The book (18mo) is finely bound in the original brown morocco boards with blind and black tooled architectural borders around a repeating diamond design, guaffered edges, spine in six compartments with raised bands, gilt lettering pieces to compartment two; minor wear and markings to the boards, spine is scuffed, joints scuffed and tender.
Inside:
In very good condition and clean throughout aside from rare pencil marks to margins, a date added to a half title in pencil and a series of numbers in pencil to the rear end paper.
Bookplate C. R> Haines to the front paste down.
Crisp, clear text throughout.
All pages tightly held at the gutter.
Inner hinges are sound.
