【作者简介】

DengRong，nicknamedMaomao，wasborninSouthwestChina'sChongqingCity，thefourthchildofDengXiaoping.AftergraduationfromGirlsMiddleSchoolattachedtoBeijingNormalUniversity，shewenttoliveandworkforthreeyearsinavillageontheloessplateauinthenorthernpartofNorthwestChina'sShaanxiProvince.Later，shegraduatedfromBeijingMedicalCollege（today'sMedicalSchoolofPekingUniversity）.
Intheearly1980s，sheworkedforfouryearsfirstasattacheandthenthirdsecretaryintheConsulateSectionoftheChineseEmbassyinWashingtonDC.Returninghome，sheworkedintheResearchOfficeoftheGeneralOfficeoftheNationalPeople'sCongress.Appointeddeputydirectoroftheoffice，sheengagedinresearchintoChina'slegislationandlegislativesystems.
ShewasadeputytotheEighthNationalPeople'sCongressandanexecutivememberoftheSixthCongressoftheAll-ChinaWomen'sFederation.
