HegraduatedfromShanghaiConservatoryofMusicandUniversityofSouthernCalifornia.HiscellosoliLingeringCharmpremieredin1980iscriedupbyGroveDictionaryofMusicasthefirstChineseavant-gardemusicwork.
AmericanWest,hisphotographyflorilegium,hasbeencollectedbytheUnitedStatesLibraryofCongressinWashingtonD.C.HehaswongoldmedalinteamworkofAustrianSuperCircuit,andalsoistheownerofthebestphotoawardsandthebestthesisawardsonthefirstLangJingshanPhotographyForuminShanghai.
LuLin，VicedirectoroftheadvertisingdepartmentoftheCollegeofHumanitiesandCommunication,ShanghaiNormalUniversity,professor,memberofShanghaiTranslatorsAssociation,standingdirectorofShanghaiPhotographersAssociation.
Mr.Linhasworkedonphotographiceducationformorethan20yearswithmorethan80publicationsspecializedinphotography,manyofwhichhavebeenawardednationalprizes.In1999and2001,hewonthefourthandthefifthChinesePhotographyAwards,whichisthetopphotographicawardinChinajointlysupervisedbyChinaLiteraryFederationandChinaPhotographersAssociation.
