David W. Ferguson,Born in Scotland, David graduated in law from Edinburgh University. He worked worldwide as a management consultant and speaks several languages. He later ran a media company working with high-profile names like Sir Alex Ferguson and David Beckham. David came to his wife';s home town of Jilin in China in 2006, then to Beijing. As a journahst and editor for website China.com.cn he covered the Wenchuan earthquake in May 2008. In 2010 he joined Foreign Languages Press,for whom he has edited many high-profile publications. He has written books on the cities of Nantong and Suzhou - this book was Launched at the London Book Fair of 2012 - and on Guangdong and 3iangsu provinces. David also contributes regular articles to the Chinese media.
