艾丽丝默多小说中女自我的嬗变研究是二战后英国文坛颇具影响力的小说家和哲学家。有别于同时代的女主义者，她在文学创作上偏爱男的叙事视角，刻意回避自己作为女作家的创作身份，崇尚低调女权运动。艾丽丝默多小说中女自我的嬗变研究结合默多的哲学观点及其创作的时代背景，通过基于她不同创作阶段作品的文本分析，对作品中女人物的自我身份的解构和重构进行了整体研究，揭示了女在丧失了传统语境下的自我之后如何通过对自我意识觉醒和自我身份建构来重建自我，并很终达到默多追寻的目标——“善”的境界。
作者简介：
徐明莺，文学博士．硕士生导师。主要研究方向为英美文学和西方文论。现任大连理工大学外国语学院副教授。2007年获得“富布莱特”外语助教子项目奖学金．赴美国访学。
