Award-winning photojournalist Santi Visalli was born in Messina, Sicily, and has lived in the United States since 1959. His photographs have appeared in "Time," "Newsweek," and the "New York Times," as well as in other leading newspapers and magazines throughout the world. Mr. Visalli is currently president of the Foreign Press Association of New York. In 1996, Santi Visalli was bestowed with the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy. Diane Rehm is the host and executive producer of "The Diane Rehm Show," described by "Newsweek "as one of the leading talk programs in the country. A native Washingtonian, Diane Rehm began her radio career in 1973 and has earned wide recognition for outstanding achievements in broadcast journalism.
