Rather,bullshittersseektoconveyacertainimpressionofthemselveswithoutbeingconcernedaboutwhetheranythingatallistrue.Theyquietlychangetherulesgoverningtheirendoftheconversationsothatclaimsabouttruthandfalsityareirrelevant.Frankfurtconcludesthatalthoughbullshitcantakemanyinnocentforms,excessiveindulgenceinitcaneventuallyunderminethepractitioner'scapacitytotellthetruthinawaythatlyingdoesnot.Liarsatleastacknowledgethatitmatterswhatistrue.Byvirtueofthis,Frankfurtwrites,bullshitisagreaterenemyofthetruththanliesare.
