Europe, what a charming name that derives from the Greek word for goddess Europa. As you walk around the cities of Europe, you can see different characteristics of European architecture. There is a huge difference between the city planning in Europe and Asia, the European inland city, coastal city, mountain city plannings are also different.
I recorded with paintbrush and text of the cities I went to during the six years I stayed in Europe, and after several years of accumulation and compilation, it results in this European watercolor notes. From the British Isles of Western Europe, to Turkey across Eurasia, this note includes city streets I walked, landmark buildings I gazed, also the food, festivals and cultures I experienced. It is a beautiful memory of both the stay and travel in Europe, and the unique urban views seen by an architect. No matter you are a watercolor painting enthusiast, a European architecture enthusiast, or a traveller planning to travel in Europe, I deeply hope that I can share the colorful times with you.

【作者简介】

望叔，设计师，爱好养动物和研究历史，家有花生、芝麻、菲菲三只猫咪，曾在德国学习建筑和设计，毕业后在斯图加特工作，工作之余开始画水彩画，并且喜欢用绘画与文字把在欧洲的学习与生活的经历记录下来。部分画作被德国、英国、澳大利亚和美国的爱好者收藏。

Y. Wang, designer, who likes animals and history research, and has three cats called
Peanut, Sesame, Fei Fei. She studied architecture and design in Germany, after graduation she lived and worked in Stuttgart, besides working she started watercolor
painting. She likes recording the study period and daily life by painting and writing.
