MarjaneSatrapiwasbornin1969inRasht,Iran.ShegrewupinTehran,whereshestudiedattheLycéeFrancaisbeforeleavingforViennaandthengoingtoStrasbourgtostudyillustration.ShecurrentlylivesinParis,wheresheisatworkonthesequeltoPersepolisandwhereherillustrationsappearregularlyinnewspapersandmagazines.Sheisalsotheauthorofseveralchildren'sbooks.
　　玛赞·莎塔碧（MarjaneSatrapi）于1969年出生于伊朗雷什特。她在德黑兰长大，在那里的法语公立学校学习，之后去维也纳，后又去斯特拉斯堡学习插图艺术。她写过几本儿童读物，创作的插图发表在世界各地的报刊杂志上，包括《纽约人》和《纽约时报》。她目前住在巴黎。
