【内容简介】

本书为大学体育专业英语用书，分为体育组织机构、国际综合体育竞赛、体育运动项目、体育科技、实用体育词汇表5个部分、共64个专题，另外还配5个附录。从专业覆盖面上看，包括体育教育、运动训练、社会体育、运动人体科学和民族传统体育5个本科专业；从各篇章结构上看，包括英语短篇课文、专业词汇、作业练、常用语、主要机构和赛事、有名运动员和参译文等。版于2009年出版，第二版在版的基础上补充了一些因应时代发展的新内容新赛事，调换了部分章节的前后次序，更新了个别概念，充实了练题和实用词汇。

【作者简介】

刘成，广州大学体育学院教授，硕士生导师。广东省高校“千百十”工程第三批校级培养对象。现任广东社会学学会常务理事、副秘书长，广东社会学学会体育社会学专业委员会副主任委员、秘书长。共发表60余篇，出版著作2部。
