章新SAT 阅读考试介绍

考试形式

新SAT 为52 道篇章阅读题，时间为65 分钟（相当于75 秒完成一题）。

从阅读篇章上看，新SAT 为4 篇长单文章＋1 篇长双对比文章。

从选项得分上看，新SAT “亲”们，终于可以“蒙答案”了！）。

阅读为个考查部分，5 “跨区”做题的问题。

难度趋势分析

难词难句的理解都融入阅读之中，且总阅读量较之前增大，每篇文章大致篇幅在800—1 500

词左右；去掉涂答题卡的时间，真正阅读、理解的时间比较紧张，难度增大。

在老SAT中，经常会出现文章难但题目简单，或文章看似容易而题目往往奇难无比的情况。但是，

在新SAT 中，命题者的思路相对比较规范，他们会从背景知识、词汇难度与句式、写作目的直接与否、

文章结构等四个不同的角度对文章进行规范，题目整体难度大致呈正态分布。通过对难度梯度的精

心设计，保证一般学生的基本分，同时也确保表现优异的学生能够脱颖而出，从而达到甄选人才的

目的。也就是说，想获得SAT 阅读基本分会相对容易，在现行SAT 考试规则下，长期在低分段徘

徊的情况不大可能出现；但要获得高分，还是很有挑战性的。

篇章类型与题材

总体分为四大类：小说类、社会研究类、全球对话与建国文献类和科学类。

考试题型及做题思路

新SAT 阅读的题型大体可以分为主旨题和细节题两大类。

主旨题通常包括以下几种：

1. 全文主旨题

The central problem that Mr. ×× describes in the passage is that women have been

这种题目通常都出现在道题的位置。但是，很明显，只有通读全文后才有可能了解整个文

章的中心，所以将文章浏览完毕、把别的所有题目做完后再完成这个题目比较合理。

2. 全文写作目的题

The main purpose of the passage is to

A. make an argument about the influences of the modern media on young people.

B. take a position on government’s financial supports for electronic media.

3. 段落主旨题

这种题目其实就是问你文章先写了啥，然后写了啥，后写了啥！选项可能会是下面这个样子：

文章先提出了一个实验，然后被证明是不可行的；接下来，有人尝试了比个实验相对保守点的

新实验，结果新实验得出的结论和数据又产生了一系列新的问题。显然，要通读全文后才能搞清整

个文章的脉络和顺序，这种题目自然应放到后完成。
