【内容简介】

2020年中东地区形势呈现出更加混乱无序的局面，并突出表现为大国关系持续紊乱、地区力量发生另类重组、热点问题持续僵持且更加复杂、传统安全与非传统安全议题联动等复杂局面。从中东国家的内部发展来看西亚北非局势动荡发生十年来，探索转型道路，增强国家治理能力构成了中东国家的核心任务，而新冠肺炎疫情的暴发则使中东国家面临着更加严峻的考验。2020年中东地区危机是国家治理危机与地区对抗冲突并存的双重危机。 

《中东地区发展报告（2020―2021）》统编为四部分对上述问题加以阐释。第一部分为大使特稿，特稿主要是对2020年中东地区热点问题进行盘点。第二部分为地区形势，主要就2020年中东地区整体形势、西亚和北非次区域形势进行梳理分析并就2021年中东形势发展作出研判。第三部分聚焦了相关代表性国家和组织发展概况：一是选取沙特阿拉伯、伊朗、以色列、土耳其、埃及等13个西亚北非国家进行2020年政治、经济和对外关系的国别解读；二是关注了伊合组织、阿盟、海合会等较活跃组织的发展动态。第四部分是中东新冠肺炎疫情观察：一是从全局性视角审视伊斯兰世界抗疫与疫情下的巴勒斯坦问题；二是审视埃及、伊朗、土耳其、约旦、叙利亚、也门等地区大国、小国和战乱国家的疫情与社会发展。
