This book is the compendium of 10 white papers on human rights issued by the State Council Information Office from 2016 to 2019, which comprehensively reflects China\'s progress in human rights in the judicial, poverty eradication, health, religion, protection of the rights and interests of the disabled, women\'s cause and other fields. It also attibutes to the domestic and international community to correctly understand the situation of China\'s human rights.

【作者简介】

国务院新闻办公室组建于1991年1月，主要职责是推动中国媒体向世界说明中国，包括介绍中国的内外方针政策、经济社会发展情况，及中国的历史和中国科技、教育、文化等发展情况。通过指导协调媒体对外报道，召开新闻发布会，提供书籍资料及影视制品等方式对外介绍中国。
