BobMoseleynasspentmostofhislifeexploringmountansaroundtheworldforbothworkandfun.HebeganhisconservationcareerintheRockyMountainsofIdahowhereheworkedfor25yearscatalogingtnestate‘sbiologicadiversityanddesigningconservationprogramstosustainit.HethenmovedtothemountainsofYunhan,China,workingfornearlysixyearsasascientistforTheNatureConservancy‘sChinaprogramBob‘sfirstbookwasAlpineWildflowersoftheRockyMountains,coauthoredwithJoeDuft.MorerecentlyhecompiledtneRockClimbingGuidetoYunnanwithWangBinandWangZhiming.BobreceivedtheYunnanFriendshipAwardfromthePeople‘sRepublicofChinaandthePartnersinConservationAwardfromtheU.S.DepartmentoftheInterior.BobcurrentlydirectsconservationprogramsforTheNatureConservancyinIllinois,wheretallgrassprairiesandbigriversarethefocusofhiswork.
