【内容简介】

　　整个轮机英语（MarineEngineeringEnglish）分为读写教程（ReadingandWriting）和听说教程（ListeningandSpeaking）两部分，供轮机专业本科学生第5-7学期使用，以满足连续学习英语的要求。
　　读写教程按72学时编写，供第5-6学期使用；听说教程按36学时编写，供第7学期使用。
　　听说读写，均注重实用。阅读部分加入了句法分析，难句长句分析方法及步骤。
　　阅读材料均选自原版轮机工程读物，课后难句分析完全按照《轮机英语读写教程》第一篇介绍的方法进行。希望通过大量阅读实践，使学生掌握应知应会的专业词汇。坚持精讲多练，重在实践。在每课课后给出的学习指要，大多数是编者多年教学工作的总结。专业书写部分均为实船需要的书写工作。书写实例给出同一含义的汉语内容不同英文表达方式，并给出了解析。
