汪承平所著的《文学语篇的语用文体学研究--基于顺应理论的小说人物会话分析》以语用学理论和顺应理论为基础，构建了分析小说人物会话的理论框架，并选取三本经典小说（《围城》、《儿子与情人》和《傲慢与偏见》）中的会话语料进行论证。小说人物会话通常肩负着多重任务，在推动情节发展的同时，还是人物性格的载体。本书构建的理论框架，融合了语言学和文体学的要素，从语言、文化、社会、认知等多个视角对小说人物会话进行解读，以期更好地展现小说作者的艺术手法。此外，本书的研究成果对小说研究、文学教学和小说翻译都有一定的参考作用。
