George G Harrap 1932. Unclipped dustjacket has soiling, creasing, chipping to edges plus loss to spine and the bottom corner of fore edge. There is also some historic strengthening tape to top and bottom edge on the inside which has yellowed. Jacket now in an archival removable wrapper. Boards somewhat dulled and darkened, gilt titles and decoration still bright, top edge dulled. Endpapers a little tanned, single neat inscription on first blank page, otherwise bright internally. Good book in fair jacket. A beautiful book featuring 12 full colour tissue guarded illustrations by Rackham, plus many black and white illustrations in the text. Includes great tales such as The Snow Queen, The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid, plus many more.
