China’s diplomacy not only has global and international features but has Chinese national and cultural traits. Contemporary China’s Diplomacy mainly introduces the goals and principles, patterns, innovation, and extension of contemporary China’s diplomacy as well as its multilateral diplomacy. Its diplomatic innovation and extension demonstrate the new visions and situation of major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics for the new era.

【作者简介】

张清敏，法学博士，北京大学国际关系学院外交学系教授兼系主任、博士生导师，长期教授和研究对外政策理论与中国对外政策、外交学理论与中国外交。在上述领域发表众多论著，代表作包括《美国对台军售政策研究：决策的视角》《对外政策分析》《改革开放40年中国外交》以及译著《总统人格：伍德罗?威尔逊的精神分析》《小集团思维：决策及其失败的心理学研究》等。曾在亚、欧、美、大洋洲等十余所大学教授与中国外交有关的课程。 

Zhang Qingmin (Ph.D.) is professor and Chair of the Department of Diplomacy, School of International Studies, Peking University. His teaching and research interests include theory of foreign policy analysis and Chinese foreign policy, diplomatic theory and China’s diplomacy. He has published widely in these areas, including U.S. Arms Sales Policy toward Taiwan: A Decision-Making Perspective, Foreign Policy Analysis, and China’s Diplomacy in 40 Years since Reform and Opening-up, and translation from English to Chinese Woodrow Wilson and Colonel House: A Personality Studies, Groupthink: Psychological Studies of Policy Decisions and Fiascoes. With wide international teaching experiences, he has been invited to teach China’s diplomacy related courses at more than a dozen universities in Asia, Europe, America, and Oceania.
