【内容简介】

　　《理工专业通用学术英语（应用篇）》进入以学术论文为核心的学术语类教学。第1一4单元侧重立项申请报告、技术报告、学术论文和文献综述四种主要学术语类的宏观特征教学，便于学生了解这些语类的共性与差异、语篇布局的严密性以及语篇各组成部分在整体结构中的作用。第5—9单元分别是对研究论文各组成部分的阅读与写作方法的强化教学。阅读和听力教学材料题材丰富多样，但语篇体裁和语体特征集中。
　　教学活动从细读典型文本人手，围绕学术研究中提出问题、分析问题、解决问题的过程展开，激发学生提出创造性研究问题，使语言能力和思维能力同时得到训练和发展。
