Have posted new images without the glass

signed and dated 1916 mounted and framed, no glass, overall size 19 x 28 inches

slight hint of foxing although I am the only one that notices, the painting has been much admired

anyone in the the Wiltshire area is welcome to view the painting

Biography

Henry Charles Fox was born in London in 1855 and died in April 1929. He was a prolific artist, 

best know for his superb rural watercolour landscapes. Looking at Fox's paintings is like stepping back 

in time to Victorian rural Britain. Rural life has changed so much since the time Fox was painting, his work 

captures what is now regarded as the idealised rural life. Henry Charles Fox's paintings are a wonderful record 

of Victorian rural England.
