品相描述：八五品: 尺寸：(1-3卷)25*17.3厘米；(4-5卷)26.1*18厘米；净重：10.33公斤。
外封边角有磨损如图，第3、第4卷还有部分页面尚未裁开（未阅读过），书前空白页各有一枚馆藏位置记录单，内页干净完好。
【附赠】James Legge中文手写《道德经》第81章及英语译文，书于1879年3月22日，带亲笔签名。手迹尺寸：17.7*11.2厘米，纸托尺寸：28.2*23.1厘米。纸托背面另有James Hamilton, David Blyth和John Thomson于19世纪的题赠和签名。
