All Decca recordings of the critically acclaimed piano duo Bracha Eden and Alexander Tamir - remastered from the original tapes in 24bit / 96kHz process.
The box contains mostly works considered central to Eden and Tamir's repertoire. When their Decca debut LP came out in the United States, Harris Goldsmith, the seldom-satisfied piano critic for 'High Fidelity' magazine, raved about their Rachmaninoff, Milhaud, Poulenc and Lutoslawski recordings. "From whatever point of view one may judge the performance of these musicians, it is manifestly of the first rank. At one time their playing is utterly fresh and spontaneous. Individually, it sounds at once brilliant and transparent; when they play together, they interact in an extraordinary way."
