作者简介
陈廷祐，1926年生，1949年毕业于在上海的暨南大学外国语文学系。1952年至1974年任《人民中国》、《北京周报》编辑、记者。后任商务印书馆编审。中国书法家协会会员，中华全国美学会会员。著有《书法之美》、《中国书法美学》、《书の美学》(日文，东京书籍株式会社版)、《书法美学新探》、《书法之美的本原与创新》。
