作者简介 Haiqin Yu is currently senior editor at the Journal of University of Jinan (Science and Technology) of the University of Jinan, Shandong Province, China. Dr. Yu’s research focuses on general education, engineering education, and reading and writing education. She attended Harvard Graduate School of Education as a visiting scholar during the 2014-2015 academic year. While there, she established the Fulcrum Team, with whom she conducted the Harvard interview series. Justin M. Thomas earned a master’s degree in Regional Studies-East Asia from Harvard University in the spring of 2014. He met Dr. Yu in the fall of the same year and began to assist her with her interview project. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chinese from Georgetown University in 2012. From 2015 to 2017, he served as a volunteer English teacher with the Peace Corps (known in China as the U.S.-China Friendship Volunteers) at Chongqing Technology and Business University.
