内容摘要
陈运泰院士是靠前有名的地球物理学家，为地震学的发展做出了杰出的贡献，从20世纪70年代起，他开创并发展了中国震源物理过程的研究工作，积极倡导和从事数字地震学研究，增进了对地震破裂过程时空复杂性的认识。半个多世纪以来，陈运泰院士笔耕不辍，发表了大量的学术论文。本书选录了陈运泰院士自1971年至今所发表的60篇论文，内容涉及震源理论、地震预报、地球内部结构等，是陈运泰院士地震工作生涯的学术成果集锦。另外，还收录了陈运泰院士的工作剪影、培养的博士及硕士名录、论著目录及学生、同事撰写的8篇回忆性文章。
