作者简介
王秀萍，女,汉族,浙江舟山人,讲师,教育学硕士。主要研究方向为儿童音乐课程理论及音乐教育哲学。近几年来,先后在《中国音乐学》、《音乐研究》、《中国出版》等学术核心刊物上发表论文8篇,主持省级课题1项,网络课程1项,编著《幼儿园课程论》(新时代出版社2005年版)第二作者。其研究中关于儿童音乐教育的范式转换、音乐教育的审美范式研究所引起的反响较大,对当前儿童音乐教育价值取向的确立有重要的理论与现实意。

内容摘要
该书探讨新中国70年来，作为群体的中国儿童的生存与发展状况。而儿童的生存与发展状况与儿童是否具有社会主体地位以及主体性发挥的程度直接相关。全书以“当代中国儿童”为书写主语，以国家政策与国家层面统计数据为历史事实材料，叙述当代中国政府对儿童生存与发展问题的关注与投入，追寻当代中国社会对儿童权利保护的发展踪迹，从而给出当代中国儿童生存与发展的历史面貌。
本书采用历史研究法、定量的解释性研究法和文献研究法，同时采用以下逻辑：首先，基于国家政策材料对每一历史时期每一领域的儿童发展状况进行历史性描述，并形成每一时期每一领域儿童发展的结论。其次，针对每一历史时期每一领域儿童发展结论，提供与时期、领域相对应的国家统计数据，基于数据事实，判断与解释结论的可靠性。数据材料与事实相结合，分析每一历史时期中国儿童生存与发展的现实状况、获得的进步、存在的问题，呈现当代中国儿童生存与发展的历史面貌，得出70年中国儿童生存与发展的总体结论。
