作者简介
冯仕政，中国人民大学社会与人口学院教授、党委书记兼常务副院长。主要从事政治社会学、社会治理与国家构建、社会转型与政治秩序等领域的研究。在《社会学研究》等专业刊物上发表论文20余篇，出版有《当代中国的社会治理与政治秩序》《西方社会运动理论研究》等专著。主持国家社科基金等各级各类课题多项。曾获北京市哲学社会科学很好成果一等奖、二等奖，霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年教师奖(研究类)，宝钢很好教师奖，北京市高等教育很好教学成果奖，教育部高等教育重量教学成果奖等。人选教育部“新世纪很好人才支持计划”、北京市新世纪社科理论人才“百人工程”和北京市宣传文化系统“四个一批”人才培养工程。

内容摘要
本书梳理和探讨了党的十八大以来，以同志为核心的党中央关于社会治理的新理念新思想新战略。本书认为，以同志为核心的党中央，观大势，谋大事，为新时期新阶段的社会治理擘画了新的宏伟蓝图。这张蓝图可以概括为社会治理的“问题意识”“基本方略”“总体要求”“主要内容”四个部分，其中“主要内容”部分又划分为“调适社会关系”“激发社会活力”“化解社会矛盾”“巩固国家安全”四个内容，加起来总共七个方面。这七个方面有总有分、有主有次、有历史有现实、有抽象有具体、有理论有政策，内容上彼此呼应，逻辑上前后一贯，初步形成了一个既具有历史视野和洞察力，又富有时代特征和针对性的理论体系。
