《跨越边界：翻译的跨学科研究》以跨学科的视角重新界定翻译，探索了翻译研究与其他16个学科的互动过程，其中既有对比较文学、语言学等传统基础研究领域的论述，也有对生物符号学、游戏本地化研究和认知神经科学等新兴研究领域的关注，从而让读者更为系统和全面地了解翻译研究的跨学科发展动态。

伊夫·甘比尔（Yves Gambier）：当代著名翻译理论家，芬兰图尔库大学口笔译领域名誉教授，主要研究兴趣为翻译理论、视听翻译、社会术语学、话语分析、语言政策与规划等。
吕克·范·多斯拉尔（Luc van Doorslaer）：比利时鲁汶大学翻译研究中心主任，主要研究兴趣为新闻学与翻译、形象学与翻译等。
