靠前儒学联合会（英文名：International Confucian Association，简称：ICA）是由中国、韩国、日本、美国、德国、新加坡、越南等国家和中国香港、中国台湾地区地区与儒学研究有关的学术团体共同发起，于1994年10月5日在中国北京正式宣告成立；1995年7月在中国民政部注册登记，是具有法人地位的靠前性学术团体。联合会会址设在中国北京。靠前儒联的建设宗旨为研究儒学思想，继承儒学菁华，发扬儒学精神，以促进人类之自由平等，和平发展与繁荣。

2015年9月，联合国193个会员国首脑一致通过了《2030年可持续发展议程》，议程设定了17项可持续发展目标，涉及到社会、经济和环境以及与和平、正义和高效机构相关的重要方面，为今后的发展制定了蓝图。该议程于2016年1月1日正式启动。为积极配合联合国这一重大行动，探讨以儒学为主干的中华文化能够为解决当代人类社会面临诸多问题提供什么样的智慧和启示，阐释儒学文化在促进世界和平，实现人类可持续发展方面的价值，靠前儒学联合以“儒学与人类可持续发展”为主题向国内外知名学者征集论文。全书包含22篇论文，涉及儒学与优选治理、儒学与人类命运共同体、儒学与生态文明、儒学与文明对话、儒学与优选伦理，儒学？经济？教育等子题。
